A surgical site infecion is an infecion that occurs after surgery in the part of the body where the surgery took place. Surgical site infections can be severe enough to disable patients from working or to extend their stay at the health clinic. This imposes significant financial burden on patients in terms of lost wages and on clinics in terms of increased cost of care

Hallie Sue Cho Co-Founder, CEO Hallie is a technology entrepreneur with experience in strategy, product development, marketing, and fundraising. Hallie worked on OttoClave while completing her Master's degree in mechanical engineering at MIT Gregory D. Tao Co-Founder, CTO Greg an innovator with extensive experience in developing medical devices and consumer electronics. Greg is the original product conceiver and worked on OttoClave while completing his Master's degree in mechanical engineering at MIT Avi Goodman Co-Director of Medical Research Avi is a researcher with a keen interest in surgery and health economics and a background in biomedical engineering. He is a MD candidate at Case Western Reserve University Anish Mehta Co-Director of Medical Research Anish is a scientist with extensive research experience in medcine and is passionate about improving global health access. He is a MD candidate at Case Western Reserve University Subhash Ghimire Managing Director, Asia Subhash is an experienced government relations specialist. He is the founder of Sarswati Foundation. Subhash is a MPP candidate at Harvard Kennedy School Mark Maples Director of Public Relations Mark is a former non-profit consultant and a fulbright scholar with a background in public relations and international business Rajesh Cherukuri Software Developer Rajesh is a seasoned software developer with expertise in web and mobile applications, bioinformatics, and server architecture
